Get them out of their graves and let them run the world again. Should we get Napoleon to rule France and Vlad Tepes – Romania?!? How about Russia with it’s Tsars ? Hitler and Germania?
Geo-politically, the boundaries are cultural, rather than geographical. Australia is closer to Asia,but typically listed in the West, Greece is a West European country,while Bulgaria,which is closer to Central Europe,is an Eastern European country.
Islamic – Muslim nations, regardless of location, are categorised as the East and in a bizarre way ,sometimes, part of Eastern Europe using the Western European mental map.
Who the hell saved Eastern Europe ?
Eastern Europe is not the eastern part of the European continent. Eastern Europe is the part that Stalin and the Soviet Union took over with the approval of Roosevelt and Churchill. They all saved Eastern Europe from fascism. Even Poland was saved and delivered safely to Stalin.
Dig Roosevelt, Stalin, Hitler, Churchill, Mao, Ceausescu up and they will tell you that,all off them saved something from something , but not for themselves.
Another definition was created during the Cold War and used more or less synonymously with the term Eastern Bloc. A similar definition names the formerly communist European states outside the Soviet Union as Eastern Europe.
The one thing that we can all agree on is that Michel Jackson, Bruce Willis and Harvey Weinstein saved the European Union. Stalin saved USA, USA saved Russia, Russia saved England, USA saved Russia and England who saved France, Poland and Romania.
Romania saved a goat. Hungary saved a corn field. Bulgaria got the Russian investment making Bulgarians and Ukrainians lite up like a Christmas tree from Chernobyl and Poland has to say Dziękuję Ci.
