The Alliance against Romanians’ and Bulgarians’ Discrimination (AARBD) was established in London as a consequence of the wave of negative reactions in the English press, which have been taken to the extreme, causing major prejudice on an international scale to the two nations.

The political decisions influenced by the unjustified media revolt have harmed, and continue to harm, the Romanian and Bulgarian citizens who came to the UK in order to study or work, and whose rights are restricted in an unjustifiable manner, going against the legal norms of the European Union.

AARBD decided to invite the citizens of these two countries to a static protest – the third up to this moment – organised in London on the date of 15 December at 2.00pm, in front of the Palace of Westminster – Houses of Parliament – Old Palace Yard, Westminster, London, SW1A 2PW.

The reason for this peaceful protest is to draw attention to the communicational errors which have the intention to manipulate the British public opinion and not only, and which make the Romanian and Bulgarian citizens responsible for the economic difficulties and political problems existing in this country.

A significant number of participants is expected, as a consequence of the solidarity and good cooperation between Romanians and Bulgarians, previous protests demonstrating there is a good collaboration between the two countries.
